BUTCHER Steak and Pasta

Finally, there was a steak house opened in Palembang. Butcher Steak and Pasta is operated under the same group with La Vita Bella, mainly focused in selling steak.

Yesterday was the grand opening day of Butcher Steak and Pasta. And, me and my family went there to have our dinner.

After getting the menu, we asked the waiter the recommendation menu and we ordered them for each of us.

Japanese Wagyu Steak - Rp. 85,000

I ordered one of their recommendation which was Japanese Wagyu Steak. It was so delicious and tender. The outside was seared perfectly and still juicy on the inside. The steak was served with sauteed mushroom and french fries plus our choice of sauce. However, they did not ask our preference about the degrees of steak doneness. Before I sliced the steak, I really hoped it was not a well-done steak since it would be tough to be chewed. But, it was a medium well steak they served and it was perfectly cooked. 

US Prime Striploin - Rp. 90,000

My dad ordered the most expensive food in their menu since it supposed to be the most delicious, right? Well, it was yummy indeed. The blackpepper sauce was also perfectly seasoned and was the best companion for the striploin.

US Prime Beef Belly - Rp. 70,000

Who doesn't love belly? Yum yum.

Black Pepper Chicken Pasta - Rp. 35,000

It was al-dente cooked pasta topped with chicken black pepper sauce. It was good, but too oily for me.

Green Tea Ice Blend - Rp. 25,000
Honey Citrus Tea - Rp. 25,000

Currently, they had an opening discount promo 10% till the end of this month. Plus, they gave out free dessert for those who post their food on instagram or path. After seeing the promo board, we immediately post our food on our instagram. HAHAHA. Then, we got four chocolate fondant cakes for each of us.

Chocolate Fondant Cake - Free

The waiter said that they supposed to give out free cheesecake for us. However, it was sold out on that day. So, they changed it to chocolate cake. Nothing can go wrong with chocolate. It was yummy, not too sweet. However, it was not a runny molten cake that I thought of.

The atmosphere in the Butcher Steak and House was OK, but a bit hot since they did not have AC inside the restaurant. It was opened air and simple designed restaurant with an opened kitchen. The service was good, the staffs were friendly and the food was served quickly.

Surprisingly, the price of the food was cheap enough with the such quality of food. I strongly recommended Butcher Steak and Pasta restaurant for those who love to eat great steak with a great value of price.
