Liberica Coffee offers unique ambience and cozy place for us to have some coffee and grab some food in an enjoyable atmosphere. Moreover, they also had outdoor seats for the smokers.
So, these were some food that we ordered.
Chicken Wings - Rp. 35,000 |
For our appetizer, the hot chicken wings. One word, Yummy!
Croissant Tuna Sandwich - Rp. 51,000 |
Their recommended menu was the croissant tuna sandwich. The sandwich was a croissant served with tuna and tar tar sauce, with cheese on top of it. The filling was fulfilling and delicious, but the croissant was not crispy enough.
Grilled Chicken Steak - Rp. 56,000 |
Well, it was basically grilled chicken breast with blackpepper sauce and some vegetables and fries for the sides. The portion was big, the chicken was thick, but still cooked to perfection and still moist. I was not really impress with the sauce though.
Club Sandwich - Rp. 52,000 |
There was three stacks of bread of the Liberica's club sandwich. The first layer was the grilled chicken and the second was the cheese, tomato, lettuce and egg. Nothing can go wrong with club sandwich with fries, right? Yeah, the crispy toast and fries were very good indeed.
Oxtail Soup - Rp. 90,000 |
For me, the soup was well seasoned, but it was too thick since I prefer clearer soup for the oxtail. The oxtail itself was quite tender.
Tupelo Chicken Sandwich - Rp. 45,000 |
The chicken tupelo was a deep-fried chicken breast. For the Liberica's version, it was topped with the mustard sauce. It was a perfect condiment for the chicken in my opinion. Liberica was never failed to give us the perfect toasted bread, as you can see, it was perfectly toast, crispy crispy!
Oreo Chocolate Blended - Rp. 45,000 |
Classic Hot Tea - Rp. 21,000 |
Overall, I have a great food experience here with reasonably price as the portion of the food was fulfilling, the taste was good and the ambience was great with dark-design.
However, once again, lack of training of the staff was the downfall. A few times I examined that the waiters took wrong order in some tables. Moreover, they were so ignorant to the customers as we have to wait and sit for a long time until they notice us and see us the menu booklet. Also, it was super hard to get their attention to take our order and even to pay our bill. I think it was not only us that experience those since some of my friends also told me that. Well, maybe it was only the beginning since it was very crowded in the soft opening of the Liberica Coffee. Hope, we'll get a better service next time, huh?
Despite the lack of the services, I recommend the Liberica Coffee to be one of the choices to be considered to have our good time with friends or family with some good foods and drinks.
Oh well, not to forget, they also serve wine, beer, cocktails and the other alcholic beverages. And, they open from 10 to 12 midnight.
