Ya Kun Kaya Toast Palembang

Just my quick review about the newly opened franchised coffee shop, Ya Kun Kaya Toast, in Palembang. It was originally from Singapore, then continued to grow accross six countries around the world. Ya Kun Kaya Toast primarily sells the toast products, eggs and coffee.

Kaya Toast Set - Rp. 59,000

The famous Kaya Toast was indeed delicious with well-toast bread and the kaya butter jam which has a perfect sweetness. Moreover, the soft boiled egg was really mouth-watering, huh? The perfectly cooked egg yolk was to die for. As a set, they were served with the Teh Tarik.

Smoked Chicken Sandwich - Rp. 26,000

This one was a smoked chicken sandwich. They used the thick bread as the sandwiches bread and the ham smoked chicken and cheese as the fillings. Nothing special. But, if you love bread like I do, it will be a simple yummy dish.

Hot Chili Floss Toast - Rp. 26,000

Next one was a floss toast. It was a thick toast with chicken floss as the toppings. We chose the spicy floss and it was a good compliment with the crispy toast.

Ice Barley - Rp. 16,000

We also ordered the Ice Barley for our drink. Beside the good benefits we could get from barley, it was indeed a refreshing drink on such a hot day in Palembang.

Well, basically the food here was a simple and quick menu. However, no doubt it tastes delicious. Unfortunately, the waiters worked so slow, especially the cashier who took our order so the other customers behind had to wait long time. I also saw a bunch of customers walked away after waiting such a long time. And, the price was quite expensive for this kind of food, I think,
