Uncle K Palembang

Back to Uncle K for the second time last week with my family. The first time I visit here, the food experience was not really good, moreover, the menu choices wasn't as much as today's. Many times, I saw Uncle K was fully packed so I was curious and gave it another try.

Hainan Chicken Rice - Rp. 29,800

The hainanese chicken rice was really flavorful. The flavor of the ginger was infused well inside the rice. The chicken itself was tender and juicy. Not to forget the chili which was sweet, sour and spicy. Yum!

Prawn Noodle - Rp. 25,000

The soup of the prawn noodle was the best! Full of prawn flavor, sweet and spicy.

Uncle K Fried Rice - Rp. 27,800

When the waiter put the fried rice on our table, we all immediately said that it smelled really good. Yeah, it was indeed delicious. Not too oily, well-seasoned and had good topping served with it.

Wonton Chicken Noodle - Rp. 19,800

Unfortunately, the chicken noodle was not good though. It tasted like an instant noodle served with chicken and mushroom. Not really recommend to try this one.

Prata with Chicken Curry - Rp. 20,000

Well yeah, this one was also really delicious. The smell of the prata was indeed made our mouth watering. Plus they had the good chicken curry to compliment the prata.

I just realized that the price was super affordable for the eating place locating at the most hip mall in Palembang. Well, Palembang Icon was well-known as the branded mall. So, the price range was considerably cheap here. The service was also superb! Thumbs up for them for having the super fast service. We only waited about 5 minutes for our food to come out. Really!
