All You Can Eat @Pempek Beringin

Hello buffet lovers!

After seeing the advertisement in the newspaper, we were so excited to have our lunch in Pempek Beringin. They offered new concept of having Palembang's traditional food using buffet style. With only Rp. 50.000++, we got to eat many many choices of food.

The food was arranged in the big long table, similar like food feast.

Well, let me zoom in the detail on whats on the table. Yum!

After one hour of eating, we finally give up to fill up more into our tummy. Happy tummy :D

Pretty messy, isn't it?

As we know, Pempek Beringin has high quality of food and delicious pempek. The nasi samin was really thumbs up, it was yummy, flavourful and not oily like other fried rice. The soup food such as tekwan, model, pangsit ikan, celimpungan and laksan were all tasty. We can't stop eating them.

However, I don't really impress with the mie celor where the soup was too thick and too salty for my liking. Moreover, the nasi uduk also was the downfall of them all, since it did not have the strong taste of the coconut.

The Palembang's traditional cake served here include Kue Lapis, Kue Kojo, Kue Lapan Jam, Kue Matsuba, Kue Srikaya and Engkak Ketan. They were all good, but too sweet for me. Well, traditional cakes indeed supposed to be sweet, right?

In my opinion, the buffet promo is very huge deal from Pempek Beringin. Normally, one piece of pempek is priced for Rp. 3.500++ and the other food are about Rp. 20.000++. And now, we can eat the Palembang Culinary with cheaper price here. Yay! The buffet promo will end at the end of May, so, what are you waiting for guys, prepare your tummy and fill it up till your stomach explode here!
