Hello, Happy fasting month for the Muslims!
What I really love when it came to this month is that in every fasting month, most of dining place will serve a buffet menu. Yihaa! This time, we came to visit The Arista Hotel for the buffet dinner. It was priced at Rp. 280,000/person.
Well, usually I adore The Arista Hotel that always serves the best food in town. But not this time, most of the food was just so so and not fresh at all.
They served nasi minyak which turned to be good. But, the chicken and the fish as the companion for the rice was just so so, the satay and the gado-gado was OK, the duck noodle and the soto was lack of seasoning, the pempek was even worse then the others, the sushi was really pale in color and not appetizing at all.
Not to forget the desserts. Every cakes taste almost the same and the traditional cakes was too sweet for my liking. Though, the cincau dawet ice was really good and refreshing.
In my opinion, yes, they have many kinds of food here which will be refilled non-stop. However, the quality was really declining from last year. And for such a price, I think it was overpriced compared to what we got to eat.

ReplyDeleteJika iya, kalau tidak salah saya baca makanannya ala timur tengah, tapi klau saya lihat difoto kykny makanan pada umumny? tks
betul mbak paket buka puasa yg katanya ala timur tengah.
Deletetp kyk nya ga ada beda ny dg buffet arista biasa nya yah.
mungkin nama nya aja dibuat tema timur tengah padahal makanan ny sama kok kyk biasa.
and, in my opinion, rasanya biasa2 aj, ga spt biasanya, terlalu mahal utk kualitas mknan yg biasa2 aj gt :) :)
