KOPITIAM Rajawali

After opening the first outlet at mall, this time Kopitiam Casual Dining & Coffee Shop added another branch in rajawali street, near Classie Hotel. So, last Sunday I went there with my family to have our brunch.

Nasi Lemak - Rp. 39.000

My brother ordered the chicken nasi lemak. The rice was delicious and full of coconut fragance, the chicken was basically only being deep fried but it had a perfect seasoning. Not to forget the chili which had a good spiciness to incorporate all the side dishes.

Vietnamese Beef Noodle - Rp. 35.000

We all really love the beef noodle. The broth was perfectly clean and flavorful. The sweetness of the beef and a bit sourness from lime mixing well in the broth.

Carrot Cake - Rp. 35.000

Usually carrot cake was just being lightly stir-fried with some toppings. But, in the Kopitiam, it was seared till a bit crunchy on the outside. In my opinion, the taste was too sweet and we could not really taste the other flavors. Maybe they put too much sweet soy sauce.

Elvis Toast Set - Rp. 40.000

The elvis toast set was a toast consisted of some slice of bananas and peanut butter. It was served with french fries, eggs and coffee/tea. Well, it took about 30 minutes for this food to come out from the kitchen. Really? I thought they just need to toast the bread. Huh! Moreover, the place to make the toast set was different from the kitchen inside, it was an opened place near the cashier counter. So, I think it should come out faster since the staff was only making the toast and not other orders.

Tea-O - Rp. 12.000
Teh Tarik - Rp. 23.000

The service was good enough in my visit since it was very crowded on that day. The place was designed with a simple concept and I really love the brightness of the lighting here too.

I think Kopitiam was really suitable place to have breakfast or lunch. Plus, the location was good as it was not far from the business area.
