Sajian Sunda Sambara Resto firstly opened their outlet in Bandung with the traditional modern family restaurant concept that serves Sundanese cuisine. Just a few months ago, they expanded their branches in Palembang.

Once we entered the restaurant, the clean atmosphere and waiters greetings welcomed our visit. Like some other Sundanese restaurant, the food menu were presented on the long banquet table. So, we chose the food in the counter and gave them to the waiters, they will cook it in the open-kitchen concept. Once cooked, they will send them to us.

Meat Section: Chicken, Ribs, Fish, Beef

Vegie Section: Tofu, Tempeh, Vegetables

Tempeh Bacem, Tahu Bacem, Fried Tempeh, Grilled Chicken, Perkedel

Grilled Fish

White Rice, beside, they also served brown rice

Sayur Asem - Complimentary

Lemon Juice

The food were quite delicious. They were perfectly seasoned with the Indonesian spices with extra Javanese touches. Moreover, they also gave complimentary sayur asem, lalapan and tea for us.

Next to the normal table seats, they had some lesehan seats where we sit on the floor.

According to my opinion, the restaurant had good food with good ambiences. The food price was not expensive either, total expenses for our dinner was around Rp. 86.000. But, I think the Sambara Resto has lack of advertising and promotion as not many people eating here.
