Vasto Restaurant & Bar

A new restaurant, I mean bar has just opened in Palembang. It was located in the Rajawali Village. Vasto Restaurant and Bar serves light meal, Western food and not to forget, the cocktails and the alcoholic beverages. Well, since I'm not really an alcoholic person, I did not get to try the drinks.

In the first floor, it was basically their restaurant with brighter light. The second floor was designed to be the bar concept with bigger place and more seats.

Grilled Chicken Breast

Hmm, as you can see from the caption above, they offered the grilled chicken breast on their menu. But, what I get was the grilled chicken thigh for sure. And the mushroom sauce was not fresh and had a sour taste on it. Did not impress me at all. For the mashed potato was OK, but not smooth enough for me.

Beef Lasagna

The first impression of the lasagna when the waiter sent it to us was that the portion. OMG, it was so small. Well, from the photo you can see that it was normal portion, but actually, it was no layer. It was only the minced beef covered with the pasta and cheese. For me, the beef and the sauce was overly sweet. And, I think they baked the pasta when it was still raw so it was still crunchy and it was a raw pasta! It's not a creamy and smooth pasta unfortunately.

I would like to give positive points for Vasto Restaurant & Bar for the ambience and the services. Despite of the good service, the price of the food was reasonable and quite cheap I can say. Plus, they gave the opening promo 15% discount. Yayy!
